Members Corner:

We love to hear from our members about your Eurovision experiences - how you became a fan, your favourite song, how you celebrate each year, your travels to the contest...
Our 'Members Corner' area houses all your contributions to this website.  It can be in the form of a written story, a video, or perhaps a photo essay.  It just needs to be original and by you.
All entries will also be publicized via our Facebook page to ensure fellow fans see your work.
As an incentive to send us your work, we will award the best /most liked contribution each month with a prize.  This could be a CD or other memorabilia coming to us from our friends in the Eurovision world, or perhaps a free ticket to an upcoming club event we are organising near you.

Send your entries to: contribute@escfan.com.au

OGAE Second Chance Contest:

The OGAE Second Chance Contest (SCC) is organised by OGAE to give a “second chance” to songs which were part of a national selection process for the Eurovision Song Contest (ESC) but which failed to be selected to represent their country. The main purpose of the OGAE SCC is to promote the music, performers, authors of music and lyrics from these national selections.

Australia was not eligible to select an entry or vote in 2016, however we are part of the 2017 contest as a guest country for voting.
This is currently taking place, and details of how and where to vote have been distributed to paid members via email and our members-only forum.

Eurovision Tipping Contest:

In 2017, ESCFAN asked their paid members to choose their winners and losers of 2017 in a battle of skill.  Getting points for your correct choices of 1st, 2nd, 3rd placings across the Semi and Grand Finals, as well as novelties such as last place and 11th place.  The highest scorer won a bag of assorted goodies coming straight from Eurovision in Kyiv.

OGAE Song Contest:

The OGAE Song Contest is designed to promote national music and singers from competing countries, and to give them wider exposure across member clubs.

The OGAE SC is an audio-based competition between songs nominated by member OGAE national clubs.  It normally takes place over the July - Sep period, and each fanclub has the ability to select its own entry which will then compete against other clubs selections.

In 2016, Australia selected the song "Wings" by Delta Goodrem as its entry.

ESCFAN members are encouraged to participate in both the song selection and the overall voting, and a random participating member is then awarded a prize such as a giftcard.
