Bosnia & Herzegovina entered Eurovision during the 90's as one of the new participants after the breakup of Yugoslavia. Success was a little slow to start for the country, taking six performances to finally be placed in the Top Ten in 1999. Since then, Bosnia & Herzegovina have finished in the Top Ten a further five times, with a 3rd place in 2006 being their most successful outing.
While Bosnia & Herzegovina have been absent from the contest since 2012 (bar an appearance in 2016), the is reportedly still intention to return someday, once their broadcaster sorts out the financial concerns. There's a lot of love for this country, so when they return, expect a very warm welcome from the fans.
Until then, let's look back at their first six entries during the 90's...
1993: Fazla - "Sva bol svijeta" (#16)
1994: Alma & Dejan - "Ostani kraj mene" (#15)
1995: Davorin Popović - "Dvadeset prvi vijek" (#19)
1996: Amila Glamočak - "Za našu ljubav" (#22)
1997: Alma Čardžić - "Goodbye" (#18)
1999: Dino & Béatrice - "Putnici" (#7)
