After first appearing in Eurovision in 1974, Greece had been caught in controversies galore on their way to the 90's. They pulled out of the 1975 contest in protest to Turkey joining the competition, and ditched the 1984 because, well, their songs were apparently not up to scratch. The country also withdrew from the 1982 and 1986 contests after initially submitting a song.
Through all of this, there was also the lack of success that continued throughout the 90's. Just two performances would end the night in the Top Ten, and a string of poor results saw them relegated from the contest in 1999.
However, the following decade gave Greece the success they deserved - four Top 5 finishes including a win! So do you agree with their 90's results? Let's check them out...
