This list does not include those who may nominate themselves for positions from the floor on the day of the AGM. The committee will be updating this page as new nominations are made available to them.

President
Bente Tullberg (Victoria)
Outline the reasons why you wish (or the candidate may wish) to be part of the committee of OGAE Australia.
Having been on the committee twice, lately serving on the outgoing Committee as Vice President, I am passionate about retaining the fun, sparkles and laughter which this Club has always represented. Spreading the joy of Eurovision and sharing it with members and beyond. I am proud of where this Club is today and I am excited about the future and what we can bring to our members.
What are the skills and attributes you (or the candidate) have that you believe are valuable to the position/s you are applying for?
As one of the founding members of this Club, I have seen both ups and downs through the past ten plus years. I believe I will bring a sound knowledge and a genuine passion for the Contest and all it represents. In my professional life, I have worked with a variety of people from different backgrounds and have always been very proud of creating a coherent team to reach our goal.
If you are (or the candidate is) re-nominating from the current or past committee, how have you (or the candidate) made a mark and been of benefit to OGAE Australia?
I believe my role as Vice President on the outgoing Committee has been one of support and guidance to both the President, but also for the rest of the Committee. I have chaired our monthly 10 Year Anniversary Party Sub-Committee Meetings, assisted with governance subcommittees, membership processing etc.
Daniel Beronic (Victoria)
Outline the reasons why you wish (or the candidate may wish) to be part of the committee of OGAE Australia.
I am proud to nominate for the positions of President and Vice President of OGAE Australia.
Having been part of OGAE Australia’s leadership, I’ve seen firsthand what makes our club special – our members, our passion for Eurovision, and the friendships and community that have grown around it.
I bring extensive leadership and governance experience from my professional career, but just as importantly, I bring genuine enthusiasm for OGAE Australia and a desire to see our club continue to grow, evolve and remain welcoming to everyone.
As we celebrate 10 years of OGAE Australia, I would love the opportunity to help lead the club into its next chapter – strengthening our member experience, creating more opportunities to connect across Australia, and ensuring we remain a fun, inclusive and well-run Eurovision community.
Whether as President or Vice President, I would be proud to continue giving my time, energy and experience to a club that means a great deal to me.
What are the skills and attributes you (or the candidate) have that you believe are valuable to the position/s you are applying for?
I bring strong leadership, governance and organisational skills, along with a genuine passion for OGAE Australia and its members. Through my professional and volunteer experience, I’m comfortable leading teams, making decisions, managing competing priorities and, importantly, bringing people together.
I’m approachable, energetic and not afraid to roll up my sleeves and get things done. I value transparency, inclusion and collaboration, and I believe good leadership is about listening to members while also having the confidence to move ideas forward.
Most importantly, I care deeply about OGAE Australia and want to use my experience, enthusiasm and ideas to help the club continue to grow while keeping the sense of fun and community that makes it special.
Michael Romano (Western Australia)
Outline the reasons why you wish (or the candidate may wish) to be part of the committee of OGAE Australia.
As our club moves forward into its second decade I wish to be a part of shaping the future direction of the club. Particularly given the challenges that the OGAE network will face in the coming years and the need to reshape the purpose of the network and our club itself in response to that. I want to be a part of that to ensure OGAE Australia remains a strong, vibrant community of fans that continues to grow and thrive.
What are the skills and attributes you (or the candidate) have that you believe are valuable to the position/s you are applying for?
I have broad knowledge of the club's rules and processes, 5 years of experience as a committee member in various roles. I always strive to be accessible and approachable.
If you are (or the candidate is) re-nominating from the current or past committee, how have you (or the candidate) made a mark and been of benefit to OGAE Australia?
I've served as the club's contest coordinator since 2022, have represented the club in various media appearances and organised events. I have also been part of the team which has developed an plan for deeper engagement with SBS.

Joshy Bates (New South Wales)
Outline the reasons why you wish (or the candidate may wish) to be part of the committee of OGAE Australia.
I have been a Eurovision fan for many years, my love started with the music but it now extends to being a part of this awesome community. I have been a committee member for 2 years and have learned so much from being a part of this community. I take a lot of pride in my involvement and care deeply for the governance of the organisation, putting as much effort into what I believe is in the best interests of the club.
What are the skills and attributes you (or the candidate) have that you believe are valuable to the position/s you are applying for?
In both my business and personal life, I have learnt that communicating effectively is essential and believe it's important to engage in the committee processes, I have strong values on doing what's right, over what's convenient. I like thinking outside the box, and tackle problems from all angles. I enjoy problem solving, and feel my best when utilising data in decision making.
If you are (or the candidate is) re-nominating from the current or past committee, how have you (or the candidate) made a mark and been of benefit to OGAE Australia?
Since joining the committee in 2024, I have brought my knowledge as an IT Consultant and provided guidance to the committee on positive improvements within the organisation's IT presence. I assisted with finalising the TidyHQ project, and also migrating to Microsoft 365. I want to continue to assist with development and growth that benefits the committee and our members.
