JANELLE JAKOWENKO (VIC) – ORDINARY COMMITTEE MEMBER

My love of Eurovision started when I moved in Austria in 2002 and I became good friends with an ex-contestint (from Ireland).  I'm of Ukranian heratige, but I identy as Austrian.  Hosting Eurovision parties is the highlight of the year.  I do love the fun songs, like 'Give that Wolf a Bannana' and 'Eins, Zwei, Drei'.... Its lyrics like 'I'm a big boy now, I'm going away and I sold my cow' that keep me coming back year after year.  My professional background is in management and governance, so I'm looking forward to bringing that nerdy side to OGAE Australia as well.
