OGAE Song Contest 2024 - Australian National Selection

Voting is now open to decide who will represent OGAE Australia in the OGAE Song Contest. As a refresher, the OGAE Song Contest is an audio-visual event in which all OGAE national clubs can enter with an original song released in the previous 12 months in their countries. The contest has been running since 1986.

A whopping 30 unique and eligible songs were submitted to our open call, marking one of our most diverse collection of music ever submitted for an OGAE Song Contest open call! Our commitee had the very very difficult task of choosing which of these songs would be shortlisted based on the eligibility criteria. After a long and intense process full of voting and discussion, we were able to whittle the list down to just 12 songs!

Here are the 12 songs fighting to represent OGAE Australia in the 2024 OGAE Song Contest (in running order):

8. Hornbag - Playlunch

9. Rush - Troye Sivan

10. Red Flag - Silia Kapsis

11. Ghost - Ricki-Lee

12. Edge Of The Earth - Sheppard

Voting is only open to OGAE Australia members. The link to vote has been included on the members-only Facebook group and in an email newsletter. If members cannot find the link, please email us at info@escfan.com.au.
